Items requested from parents:

  1. Diapers, wipes and other diapering items. For your convenience, I recommend supplying bulk quantities of these for your child. I will notify you as needed to replenish said items. Diaper creams and ointments (prescription or otherwise) require signed parental permission to apply. Once your child begins potty training, I will work with you as to the best method to potty train your child, however until your child has 2 FULL weeks accident free you must provide Huggies/Pampers style pull-ups. Should we have an accident; we will re-evaluate the situation.
  2. Sunscreen is requested for year-round use; even during the winter your child is exposed to harmful UV rays. Signed parental permission is required.
  3. Medicines: over-the-counter pain aids, infant gas drops, epi-pen, Rx meds. Over-the-counter pain aids and like items require signed parental permission; ALL medications and epi-pens require a copy of Dr's order to administer and signed parental permission.
  4. Extra change of clothing: Each child (24 months - 3 years (3y+if  unpotty-trained)) should have extra onesies, a long sleeved shirt, a short sleeved shirt, 2 pair of pants/shorts, and extra socks. Older children (3 y and up) simply require one change of clothing, in case of accidents. All children should have a sun hat or ball cap/visor as well. Seasonal items are suggested as needed: boots, rain jacket and/or rain galoshes. These items may be brought on an as needed basis however, please keep in mind if we are able (temperature permitting) to play outside in the rain and your child isn't dressed appropriately EVERYONE must stay inside.
  5. Bedding materials: crib sheet and blanket or small sleeping bag. Small "Child-sized" pillows are allowed, however please do not bring large "adult-sized" pillows as they are too large and create a difficulty to store according to health guidelines. Soothers for naptime (for children under 2 years of age)and "Loveys" such as small stuffed toy animals, blankies etc. are permitted and encouraged; as long as these items do not create a sleeping hazard or make noise.
  6. It is also requested that the parents remove any extraneous items from their child prior to leaving the premise at drop off. These items may include but are not limited to: personal toys (other than 1 "lovey"), soothers, blankies, random pieces of mail, books, markers etc. Please understand that I do not have room to store all these extra "necessities" and they will be removed from your child as soon as possible in order to lessen any sharing issues.
